The key to healthy hair growth and minimized breakage is moisture. Our primary focus, as a natural hair care company, is determining the regimen that will allow us to hydrate the hair and retain as much moisture as possible.

The fondest memories of my childhood include moments when I spent time with my grandma as she told me stories of the past and gently massaged oil into my scalp and hair. I can still distinctly remember the sweet, aromatic concoction of coconut oil, olive oil, and powdered fenugreek seeds. Although I would always complain about the routine every week, I couldn't be more grateful to my grandma and my mom for all of those head massages. After 15 years today, I've realized the importance of oiling hair regularly. Plant-based ingredients and essential oils are the secret to beautiful hair we all dream of. Here's why:

Stimulate hair growth: Hair growth is directly correlated with the nourishment it receives. Think about it. In order for something to grow, it needs a source of sustenance. Almost every hair oil has unique nutrients, fatty acids, and other elements that enhance hair growth and improve quality. Coupled with a scalp massage, blood circulation is increased, which stimulates hair growth.

Prevent bacterial infections: Using chemical-based shampoos other products results in clogging of the pores on your head. This may cause irritation or even lead to fungal and bacterial infections. Hair oils and essential oils have antimicrobial and antioxidant properties, which play a role in a healthy scalp and prevent hair loss.

Add shine and luster: Hair shines when it is healthy, and massaging your hair with certified organic oil can add more shine and luster to your hair, making it stronger than ever! And stronger hair from the roots means you can carry any hairstyle whatsoever in elegance!

Prevent dandruff and split-ends: If your scalp is stripped of its natural oils, it's bound to get dry and flaky. Oiling your hair every night before bed will prevent dandruff and split-ends by infusing your scalp and hair shaft with a good dose of moisture. The next time you shampoo your hair, your hair won't be stripped dry.

There are a number of other benefits of regularly oiling and massaging your hair, but we think these reasons are more than enough for anyone to start oiling their hair immediately! Check out our Scalp and Length Treatment as well as the Lavender Hair Tonic, which contain numerous certified organic hair oils.
